Weekend went by WAY too fast! Lots of boring home projects, gym, watched some movies with my H, and went to a fun lighting workshop Sunday at Alta Laguna Park.
This week it's just work stuff! Bah!
Well, I'm back at work today after my 2 week spring break.
I loved my break, but 2 weeks of sitting around at home is tough to recover from. I have two words for today: Movie. Day.
This weekend I didn't do much. Read, did some writing, got some pictures taken, did some grading, got a pedicure, that sort of thing.
This week I'm just trying to survive my fist week back. But it is the start of the last quarter! I can't believe it...only 2 more months to go!

This weekend I saw Why Did I Get Married 2, read the Hunger Games, watched UFC, went to the eye doctor, ran errands.
Nothing exciting planned this week besides work and ballet.

I'm so bummed it's Monday.
Friday: Dinner at our house with friends. They brought their baby who passed out in our guestroom before dinner and then we had a good 5 hours of adult time. So much fun!
Saturday: Woke up to my back being completely locked up. Grrr. Saw a physical therapist to get things loosen up and worked on some sewing projects in the afternoon. Tried a new Batali grill recipe and it was delish.
Sunday: Gym, sewing, hot tub (unfortunately not a time machine though) and getting ready for the week.
Happy Monday. I had a pretty miserable weekend.
Fri-night class that got cancelled after driving over an hour just to get there, then dealing with tenant/rental issues
Sat-lots of studying and our hot water heater broke :-( found plumber to come but was told it's a warranty issue and manufacturer is closed on weekends
Sun-more studying and being annoyed at the inability to do dishes/laundry
This week I'm looking forward to finally getting it fixed (thank god for good friends in our neighborhood!), kicking off my fundraising for the 60 mile walk, and trying to survive another week of school.

Had a way too fun-ended much too quickly weekend.
Sat: Mudrun which was beyond fricken fun. OMGee. Lunch with friends afterwards then hubs and I relaxed and enjoyed our Uverse. Yes, finally.
Sunday: RonaldMcDonald House walk- out team kicked butt in fundraising - I am now working on thank you notes ;-) Lunch with our "team" afterward and then we hung out and hubs bffs house and had bubble fest. (i know it sounds weird) but we were making GIGANTIC bubbles yesterday for the kids and once the kids were bored the adults kept playing. lol. Sat around the bon fire and chatted for the rest of the day until it began to rain.
Good times.
Fri: Gym, cleaning, laundry (no tanning)
Sat: Gym, park day w/the princess and my bff and her kids, groceries, and movie night w/the princess where we watched High School Musical 3 (again)
Sun: Emo family drama that resulted in me huddled in a blanket drinking my feelings. Things are better now and apologies were made so it sucked initially but now it's fine.
Oh and I read 3 books this weekend! This week is work, home projects, and hopefully a party later in the week with some friends.
We had a pretty quiet weekend - we rented a few redbox movies (The Accidental Husband, Julia & Julia, The Men Who Stare at Goats) & did some furniture shopping. Sunday we went to the swap meet & had a great lunch at the Lil Pickle in Costa Mesa.
This week should be quiet other than waiting for the bank rubber stamp on the short sale & our loan paperwork going through. Once we're cleared on those fronts the real packing/sorting/trashing begins.

Over the weekend, I finally exercised!! It felt real good. Now, I need to just keep at it.
I had a lazy weekend at home: read, watched tv, slept in, etc.
This week I am anxiously counting down the days to my girls' weekend in SF. I'm so looking forward to having Friday off.
Fri - Went to dinner and watched Date Night
Sat - Mud run! It was awesome and Aline was sweet enough to let me run with her team. Thanks Aline!
Sun: Relaxed, shopped. watched Netflix
I'm not sure. lol. It's weird. Ever since I keep getting red and then my face goes numb on the right side and then I get heartburn. It's crazy. The doctor said it can take up to a week to get the meds out of my system, so hopefully it goes away!

Friday: I don't remember
Saturday: Laundry day. Hung out with H's grandma for a bit. Gunna help her with putting her crochet blankets on Etsy this weekend.
Sunday: Went to my grandma's 80th birthday party.
When we first arrived, my aunt came right up to me and said with out letting me really say anything, "How nice to see you! Sorry we didn't come to the wedding. Grandma called me a couple days before and said that we weren't invited because of cost. Oh and I have a present for you somewhere in this house" WTF? She got an invitation, RSVP'd, and no showed.
I highly doubt grandma would have told her that. I just said something a long the lines of "Sorry about the miscommunication, you were invited, but don't worry about it."
On top of that, either my cousin (1st cousin at that) was either hitting on me or I must have been really ugly the last time I saw him. He kept commenting on how pretty I am. Creepy.
Yesterday: I had the day off because I'll be working this Saturday. H's work was slow, so he decided to take the day off and come back home to hang out with me. We ran a bunch of errands and finally got our barstools for the kitchen. I love them.
And I made french bread from scratch. It was good, but not as good as I thought it would be. LBIL loved it and said it was "awesome".
This week: Should be welcoming a baby into the family. My cousin was induced last night. I might be leaving in the middle of the work day to take my grandma to the hospital to see cousin and the baby when it arrives. I can't wait. I'm squeeing.
