disney??

ok so our one year is next weekend (whoohoo!) and we were thinking of going to disney world- neither of us have been. we dont want to spend a ton but what to do something fun? is this cheesy...im not sure... but we are going to do it anyway.

where the heck do we get tickets? looking up disney online makes me want to throw my computer...there is sooo much stuff?? help!

The website is insane! you can get tix thru AAA if you have it or you can just buy them at the gate. The 4 day one is worth it if your going to be there for that long.

Disney is disney. As long as you don't go around wearing Disney characters on your shirt/hats/jackets and whatever else you can find its all good

I think Epcot is the more "adult" one of them all. Lots of places to drink/eat and shop! We just did Epcot in Jan. Its also only a 6 hr ride from Mt P. I drove it alone and met up with DH when he finished up with a work meeting.

yeah i think we are going to do the one with all the roller coasters?? but we are only going to be there for 3 days...who knows. thanks for the feedback! i will def not be wearing mickey ears...but if i do...ill post a pic! ha.

i meant to find you on here and ask you---did you join eshore? i just did like 2 weeks ago and thinking of going to spinning? have you done it?

I'd definitely recommend AAA.  They'll help you get the best rate on tickets.  My favorite parks are Epcot (the one with the different countries) and Magic Kingdom (more rides, movie oriented, fun demonstrations).

We did this a couple years ago. It's an easy drive from Chas. We got park hopper passes and went to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom. We liked the flexibility of going from park to park in the same day.  The time before that we hit Islands of Adventure and MGM.  IoA is a lot of fun.  I'd love to go see the Harry Potter thing!! Definitely check out AAA for discount tickets.  Hope you have a great time and happy anniversary!

I do belong to ESAC, I haven't been since Feb Had an unexpected house guest staying with us. I haven't tried spin. We didn't get the option to include it so I'd have to pay out of pocket to go which isn't a big deal but to answer your question-no. I heard you have to go early, like 45mins early to get your pass to reserve a bike. I've just been riding my bike outside since its been nice.
