E-shoot success!

I went to Tampa this weekend and shot my best friend's engagement pics. I was a lil nervous because my style and her style are TOTALLY different lol but I think she was happy with them. You can check them out on my blog.

We also picked out bridesmaid dresses, flowers, the venue, and had a cake tasting. It was a REALLY busy weekend, but lots of fun! :) Hope everyone is doing well.

  • Well done!  Do you dabble, or have you taken photography classes?  Either way, it looks great!
  • I was a photography and graphic design major in college for about a year and a half. I quit because my teachers were always like "ohhh be creative and do whatever u want, but u gotta use this color paper, u cant have too much contrast because we dont like it, etc. etc. etc." it was ridiculous how many boundaries they put up, although they wanted us to be "creative". Plus, it cost a TON for all the photo paper and film.

I just decided it was something I wanted to do for fun in my spare time!

Amen!  I hear ya!  My favorite was when the professors asked for your contact sheet and then chose/circled which pictures they wanted you to print....um no...  It was so limited and felt so conformed!  Boo... Big Smile

  • yeah, and u can make just as much money without a degree as you can with a degree, as long as u have the talent it really doesnt matter! Just work for yourself! :) I only do it for fun though with my friends, I've done a few weddings and it freaks me out. lol
