W00T! Step 1 of becoming a librarian...complete.
I've been waiting for months and finally got the call today that I start work in our library on May 3rd! I'm SO excited to get this library career underway. Not to mention, I'm working in a library that people work for their entire library careers to get into and will be exposed to so many wonderful library-type people/experiences.
Luckily, the time off I've accrued and my FLMA benefits don't go away since I'm staying within the same overseeing office...now I just need to figure out when to tell my new boss that I'm pregnant!

I'm a dork too cause that would be awesome.
I will definitely keep you updated on any crazy items I find. I will tell you that they apparently found some really old book in the bottom of a big box a few weeks ago. It dates back to the first Congress (1789-1791)...I'm shocked it wasn't dust!
