Lentil/cheese/bruschetta girls

Do you eat this concoction warm or cold?

Re: Lentil/cheese/bruschetta girls

  • I usually zap it in the microwave for around a minute just to take the coldness away, but it's not really warmed at that point. I think it mimics room temperature.

All credit goes to Yahpee for this one:

Buy a bag of already steamed lentils from TJ's (by the salad mixes). Top with a jar of TJ's bruschetta (in the pasta/condiment aisle). Add feta cheese as desired.

I think this is what I'll be having for lunch tomorrow!

    Drool!

  • Also bruschetta is in the fridge with the hummus and the guacamole.

Really? I missed that one. I picked up the one in a jar in the aforementioned pasta aisle. It was still yum! This time around I'm going to try it with a roasted red pepper/artichoke spread.
