Apt we're looking at. Thoughts? TIA.

I'm leaning toward the Ironwood layout because it has that extra area off the master. Thinking I could let the kids share that room and the extra space would be just for toys/playarea. Just baby proof the doors and get a 2nd floor unit. I like the short-term leases too, as well as the hardwood floors and newer furnishings. It's also only 5 minutes from my hubby's office.
What do you think of these and the area it's located?
We will hopefully find out a start date for him tomorrow! eeek!

Like most area's in Phoenix, thats right on the edge of a beautiful area (the papago park area by the zoo and botanical gardens), and a not so beautiful area.
I normally drive this way on my way to work, give me a few days and I'll take some photo's of the drive so you can see the transformation McDowel goes through
Thank you soooo much girls! Maybe I should just look in Glendale. I'll check out Biltmore and Camelback and Paradise Valley too.
Jenn - you're amazing!
I used to live in that zip code right at 44th st and mcdowell. It's not an awesome area but I never really had any problems. Myself and my roomates all had very nice heavily modified cars parked outside nightly with no garage and no one ever messed with anything.I lived there for over a year with no issues.
There are at least 3 very pretty apartment complexes within a mile of where I lived that I wouldn't have a problem living in. My DH was about to rent in one of them (before we got married) but we decided to move to CA instead. I have another friend that lived over there and loved it too. It's a great location right off the freeway
edit I just looked at the map, and that's one of the nice complexes I was referring to
I mean, I wouldn't live there if there wasn't a reason to (but your DH is very close to work this way). There are some nice places on the other side of the 202 as well. Townhouses I believe
