I've been on four, and only ever gotten seasick. Now all the boats have hand sanitizers all over, especially by the food stations. The idea of a floating luxury hotel is what I love. Plus on one vacation, going to sooo many different places.

I really like Royal Caribbean and Celebrity, don't love Carnival. 

That's the second time this week I've heard someone say they don't like Carnival.  I should avoid them in the future?

I was just in the process of saying that you should try to take a 4 day from miami to the bahamas..they are about $259-ish per person...but would you want to go back to the bahamas? haha

Well, I think they are just below the others. The price is about the same (especially now with the economy). To me, their food was not as varied nor was it as good. It also took them a while to refill glasses, take plates, etc. Normally, it's no big deal but when they are trying to be a luxury/high end cruise, it seems bad. Plus, the boat I went on had mostly American workers. As awful as this sounds, Americans just did not as great of a job as the foreigners on Royal Caribbean.

HAHA, no!  DH is so sick of carribbean living!  He wants to do a European cruise up the Rhine.  We're doing a weekend in Disney next semester so that eats up our vacation budget for the semester/Miami.

...i've only been on royal  caribbean...

1. labadee, haiti...ochos rios, jamaica...grand cayman...cozumel.

2. cabo..mazatlan...puerto vallerta

3. aruba...curacao...st. maarten...st. thomas.

the last one was by far my favorite!

Norwegian to all the Hawaiian islands

Carnival (HM!!) to half moon cay, st. thomas, grand turk, san juan

 Will be going on Celebrity to san juan, st thomas, st maarten

I would love to go to Europe...Greece cruise...

I also want to go to Aruba. Sigh, I doubt I will ever take any vacation that isn't a cruise! lol

its soo hard to take a vacation thats not a cruise! we talked about doing a european cruise next summer...but we're goingto london the following summer, so we'll see.

i dont know if i'll ever cruise something other than RCCL because I'm a priority member and I get nice free stuff..haha

Really?  I love a good old fashioned road trip.  With the DH, not my parents, haha.

yup...same here...when DH and I go on road trips...I have everything all set...I have directions from stop 1 to stop 2...then stop 2 to stop 3..and so on...haha...we were planning on going on a wine trail next week...andthats what i was doing..

We use the Garmin a lot, so we don't map it out before hand except for maybe on Google maps.  We don't drive for days either, usually it's within a days drive away.

Almost. The sucky (good?) thing is, sonic is literally around the corner from me. A 5 min walk, tops. Such evil evil temptation

We named her Leila, and sometimes she gets mad at you when you don't follow her directions and she'll snipe at you, "Recalculating," but she's amazing and gets us where we need to be.
