bare minerals makeup
i bought the package of foundation, mineral veil, bronzer, rever-upper (sp?) and brushes and i really, really wanted to like it.
it makes my skin break out like it haven't seen since i was about 14!
all i've read/heard anywhere were people raving about it, am i missing something? am i the only one who isn't impressed?

I like their makeup line, however I can't use the foundation for the same reason. Some of their products contain bismuth which can be a trigger for acne.
is there a makeup that you think is more EF? i'm looking for any suggestions that wouldn't cause breakouts. in the regular stuff, neutrogena gave me the best results, but i'm trying to get away from all the conventional products.
i'm going to check out their website now, i've never heard of that one before....thanks!
You must be sensitive to one of the ingredients (most likely bismuth oxychloride or mica). I have super sensitive skin, and can't use makeup with either of those ingredients. I use Everyday Minerals, and it doesn't seem to make my skin freak out.

I've been using Bare Minerals for years now and it has had no effect on my skin. It doesn't make it worse, but it definitely didn't make it better when I had acne.I must have been one of the lucky ones.
I don't think it rates too well on the cosmetic database. I've tried switching to other brands but they make my face worse, and I always switch back.
