Cute Ideas?

so Andrea's bday is Thursday and since the wedding is Sunday, its very much getting overshadowed this year. She's asked me not to get her any gifts and and just to take her to Moe's for dinner (its a super casual, almost fast-food type place) - but that just doesnt feel special enough. 

Any other cute ideas I could surprise her with?  Unfortunately i'm limited on how much I can spend and I will barely be seeing her all day (she has a horseshoe tournament after work. yes, she plays horseshoes. on a league. don't judge ).

I say to never underestimate the power of a cake and balloons   You can get a small cake at the grocery store (only a few servings since you both have dresses to fit into - and I'm sure you don't want her to catch you baking at home - whole foods cakes are awesome ), and a few balloons to greet her with when she gets home!  It's such a silly, fun, inexpensive thing to do - AND it's not a "gift," so you are following the rules

aww, thats cute!  unfortunately i think she'd kill me if i got a cake since they'll get her one at work and her dress is already a bit snug (mine flat out doesnt fit, but thats another story....). The balloons will be awesome though

Add a sweet card about how you are thrilled to marrying the love of your life - and viola. Romance too.

I always love the coupon gift.  Come up with some creative coupons you know a picnic in the park.  Foot massage ect.  that could be fun and free!  You also may think about celebrating her 1/2 birthday this year so that she still gets a special day.

I love Moe's - great choice A!  What if you do the Moe's thing but make it a mexican picnic?  Grab dinner, blanket, corona (or tequila) and then go find a nice quiet spot somewhere.  If she likes flan, perhaps that would be a nice dessert.
