I am hosting a bridal shower in June. We're going to play a few games and I'm having a hard time coming up with ideas for prizes. I know I could do candles, lotions, soaps but I also wanted to try something a little different. Any fun or unique ideas that aren't real complicated?
Re: Bridal Shower Prizes
These are inexpensive, but usually go over pretty well.

My aunts made jarred brownie/cookie mixes for my shower too and people loved them. You just layer all the dry ingredients in a jar, attach the recipe and dress up the jar however you want. Like this...
For a shower i just did I gave reusable shopping bags as gifts.
There are so many cute ones out there. I actually found the ones i gave at Forever 21. They were $1.50 each.
You could do 3 or 4 of them rolled together with ribbon.
I think I remember hearing about this before and I think it's genious! Everyone could always an extra tote!
How about a nice box of fancy chocolates or a fancy kitchen spice. You could find these at Marshall's and Home Goods for decent prices. GL!
I am hosting one for my sister this summer. She is a personal chef for families. I bought Barfoot Contessa's Back to Basics cook book to give as gifts. I found them for under $20 at a book store.
Find something that the bride loves to do, or a favorite color or food, or something she likes and play off of that!
This. We did favor bags with homemade candies, and then for prizes did gas cards and visa gift cards. I went to a bridal shower where they had a silent auction, the money given was donated to the Cancer Society in the brides name.
I recently hosted a shower and bought 2 gifts for games and added a personal touch related to the bride's interest. This cost me about $15 total.
1. I found a precious little mug on clearance at Starbucks, put a couple of tea bags inside, and attached a note - written on pretty paper & attached with ribbon - that said, "[bride] enjoys relaxing with a cup of tea anytime, any day. The next time you enjoy a mug of your own, take a moment to say a prayer for the newlyweds as they begin their new life together."
2. I got a $5 gift card to Half Price Books - the bride's favorite store on earth - and attached a similar note that said, "[bride] loves nothing more than getting lost in a bookstore for hours on end. Stop by Half Price Books and search for a little treasure of your own. When you do, say a little prayer for the new Mr. & Mrs.!"
