Sprinkler system repair?
Any recs for sprinkler system repair (and possibly installation)? After I put out weed and feed last night, I discovered that the control pad to our system got a short or something and won't run (mega fail). There's also a sprinkler head that could use repairing, so I need to bite the bullet and get it fixed before we really need the system in working order this summer. May also want an estimate on installing a system in our front yard. Thanks for the recs!

we just had ours repaired last week! we used Cougar Irrigation and the owner, Matthew, was very prompt, efficient, and reasonably priced. We had a broken sprinker pipe (not just the head, but the actual pipe that the head screws onto) and our old control box didn't work (it was ancient). he also did a tune up on all the heads to make sure they were aimed correctly, giving proper coverage, etc. We found that alot of our heads (11 to be exact) had a broken seal around them that made them leak and not pop up high enough. he showed me how to fix it myself because it was much cheaper than if he did it (although he did offer to do it if we wanted him to). we went ahead and did that part ourselves this weekend and it was exactly the right fix.
long story short, we're really happy with them and would use them again. all of that, including the new control box, was $225.
