I am looking for spf 50 for sunblock for my kids. I googled and found a lot that were only spf 30. Do you have an all-natural or organic sunblock that is not overly expensive to recommend? Thanks!

Re: sunblock brand rec. plz
I will just say NOT burt's bees (although we used the 15). It did not work at all, I got red. And it smelled bad.
We had to buy extremely overpriced and not-so-EF Hawaiian Tropic at the resort, but at least it worked!
You can look here

Although I tend to think a sunburn (esp. on a child) could be worse than a "regular" sunscreen... maybe test on yourself first to make sure it works if you try an EF one!
Ditto this. I plan on using this once I need sunscreen in a few weeks.
There isn't a huge difference in protection between SPF 50 and SPF 30. The key is really to use enough lotion and reapply it regularly. Also, SPF measures UVB rays, but UVA rays can still cause skin damage. You may want to look into sunscreens that protect against both.
I'm all for safer ingredients though. I had horrible reactions to PABA in sunscreens as a kid.
"It's a child, not a cheeto" Thanks mmariluh!
