Bubbles themed bday party for 2 yr old
I came up with a bubbles/polka dot "themed" party for my little girl's 2 yr bday. I've come up with some ideas but just looking for more ideas from others. My ideas so far: variety of bubbles, etc., lots of translucent balloons to look like bubbles, sandwiches cut with round cookie cutters in various sizes.....
Then I start drawing a blank. lol The party will be in the middle of August and it is HOT here in August. So the party will be in our back yard and water (sprinklers, water balloons, etc for older kids) will be involved.
Any ideas would be appreciated!! TIA
Re: Bubbles themed bday party for 2 yr old
If you wanted to deal with the mess, you could do homemade bubbles with the two straws & a string through it-- YKWIM? Like make a circle with the string- and the two straws make the handles... and make some really big bubbles with the kiddos.
it sounds like you've got a great start! What more are you wanting? games? food ideas? party favors? I mean, in my opinion, you're pretty well finished planning
I would advise keeping it as simple as possible
thanks!
I'm planning to keep it as simple as possible. I was looking for maybe some more food and favor ideas. Possibly some decor ideas. I entirely over think things and like to have as many options as possible lol.
Decor would be pretty simple- you could get some colorful paper plates (circles, of course) and hang them at different lengths
Food-wise, there's lots of ideas on http://familyfun.go.com/parties/ and possible there's favors there too?
have fun!
thanks! great ideas
Definitely purchase a bubble machine if you don't have one. They sell them at Target with the other bubble stuff. They are around 10.00.
