Bachelorette Party Theme... Need Something Unique
I am planning my sister's bachelorette party this July and could really use help on unique themes. I threw her a 90s prom themed engagement party (she's marrying her high school sweetheart) & a luau themed 30th birthday party. I love mardi gras & cinco de maya themes but it's the wrong time of year.... We will be starting the party at my house for cocktails, appetizers & gifts then having a limo take us out on the town.
She is not a "pink" kind of girl which rules out a lot. Was thinking a Vegas theme might be fun.... any ideas for that or another theme???
Thanks in advance for your help ladies!
Re: Bachelorette Party Theme... Need Something Unique
How about a Sex and the City party. This is on my mind because I am busy planning one for the new movie release. There are tons of cute ideas and theme to go along with it.
I'm thinking red carpet, cute shoes, large flower pins, sex and the city trivia/facts posted around the house, Drinks: Manhattan and of course Cosmos. Maybe set up different areas of the house to be in honor of each character....
I like Vegas. maybe you can have the invites say "what happens at Jane's Bachelorette, stays at Jane's Bachelorette"
Also, I think it's still ok to do a Mardi Gras theme outside of Mardi Gras time.
HTH.
I agree on both accounts!
Thanks ladies!
I will run both ideas by the other bridesmaids & decide from there. Appreciate the great ideas

I just got done throwing a Vegas themed bday party for my friend 30th at my place. We have a friend who had slot machines, so we had 2 of those and brought in 2 poker tables, one we used to play dice. We had signs all over, I served buffet style & bought one of those DIY banners with a slot machine & roulette wheel on it.
Because it was a surprise, the wording was generic but for RSVP (I did an e-vite) I put "all bets in" or "fold"
I also put "vegas attire encouraged" and everyone pretty much dressed the part!
We had a great time and one of our friends even brought a bunch of leftover hooker cards and layed them all over the floors throughout my house, lol. I had quite the cleanup.
