Tulip Fest
Has anyone gone? (Emily I know you went, I saw your puppy pics, SO CUTE!) How was it? Was it packed? Did they have wine? Was it pretty stroller-friendly?
Thinking of going on Friday with DH if the weather forecast is right and it's sunny on Friday, or possibly wine tasting on Sunday!

We went on Sunday morning so it wasn't too busy. I think we got there at 9:30. It was getting pretty busy when we left at 11, and getting hard to take pictures of the flowers without random people in them.
I don't know if there was wine. Nan likes to jump up on people who give her attention, so we didn't go to the booth area because I didn't want to deal with that.
I think going on Friday would be the least packed, but I'm bummed that I didn't know about the wine tasting over the weekend or I would have put off going until then.
It's pretty stroller friendly. There were some muddy spots, but the paths they have are pretty packed down.
I can't wait to see pictures of B and the flowers! : )
I went on Wednesday with DH. Photos on my blog (see siggie). There is not a whole lot going on during the week except for the flowers, which I liked. Weekends tend to be packed esp. if you try to go later in the day. The road from I-5 all the way to the farm can be seriously congested if you go too late.
I would say it's ok for strollers but it was pretty muddy in spots. One girl even got her boot stuck in the mud. This was in the middle of the tulip fields though.

We can't go on Friday until mid afternoon...so will just have to see how the weather plays out.

According to the brochure, they have wine, but it isn't clear whether they have tastings or not. But Sat and Sun is "Wine Down Weekend"!

Ah...I totally heard this on the news this AM (they will have tastings) and wanted to post for us wine lovers! And then I thought "too bad I have plans this weekend...I'd LOVE to go taste some wine...mmmm!"
