Anyone up for a b-pic shoot?
I'm finally getting them done, and booking them with Christy at Studio Christy for the first week of June. Wondering if anyone else is interseted in doing a shoot? I want to book a hotel room and figuring we could split the costs. She needs a min. of 3 people for a shoot and she will cover the cost. I'll bring the champagne!
Anyways...I'm super excited!!!

Fun!
If I can lose 20 pounds between now and then, yes. Lol.
I want to go lingerie shopping with you!! Make sure you hit Fredericks for some real naughty stuff!
I'd come to terms with the fact that I will never lose the 20 lbs. I should...either way, I know DH will be thrilled (it's an anniversary gift.)
I'd LOVE someone to go shopping with! I have no idea what I want to wear (or not wear... )

Have fun!!!
I did boudoirs for a wedding present for DH and had SO MUCH FUN. It was really a blast and I was amazed at how hot I looked! LOL. The wonders of photoshop!
Honestly... I'm going to give you an HONEST answer, ok! I remember asking my friend Tara this when I was ~36 weeks pregnant. She laughed at me and said "I STILL don't feel sexy!" Lol.
The straight answer...it won't be the weight that you will be worried about. It wil just be the SHAPE of your body. Your body just changes after you have a baby. For me personally, (remember I gained 50 pounds!), I had to wear maternity pants still for a month after birth, I still looked pregnant. Right after birth your stomach is really squishy and cellulite-y, it's not attractive at all. At 5 weeks pp, I went and bought new jeans, because it was hot out, and I was so sick of maternity pants! Pre-pregnancy I was a size 6. At 5 weeks pp I was a size 12. And my boobs were SO HUGE that I literally could not fit into normal sized shirts, and I only bought black shirts, to try and hide my humongous boobs. Around 4 months pp I bought new jeans again, and I wore a size 10. At 9 months pp, I was back into size 6 or size 8.
I didn't diet at all though. I just nursed(til 6 months), and did light workouts a few times a week. I found that around 9 months, I suddenly felt "normal" again.
So, to answer your question...how long until you feel sexy after baby? I don't know. Sexy is so different for me now. Honestly, if I didn't have spit up on me, and had showered within 24 hours, and had a half glass of wine, I felt sexy. I don't know if I actually LOOKED sexy, but I felt it! Lol
So about 13 months after birth, I'm 7 pounds bigger than my weight before my BFP. But I'm happy with how I look, I feel good about myself (when I'm dressesd, lol). I would be really happy to lose a few pounds and TONE a little more than I am right now (mainly my stomach and upper arms) but honestly, if I look like this this summer, I will have no problems being in a bikini looking like I do right now. I am wearing a size 8 dress, and the same jeans size that I wore pre-pregnancy. The tradeoff for me, is that I have an AMAZING daughter. So even if I was still up 20 pounds extra right now, I would be so happy, because B is worth it. Every bad moment the last year, she's worth it. Every fight with Mike, she's worth it. Every time I looked in the mirror and felt disgusting, was worth it to have her in my life.
So, short answer...no b-pics this year Rebecca. But you do have great motivation to do it next year!!

No prob!!
Also, I should add, that's just MY experience. There are women that limit their weight gain in pregnancy, work out the whole time, only gain 20 pounds, and are back in their skinny jeans 3 days after birth. My friend Nicole did that, and Newbie33 (used to post on this board) had a very similar experience. My pregnancy however, was full of milkshakes and mexican food. So I did gain more weight than I should have, and it took me longer to lose it than I should have. But, milkshakes are delish, and I'm happy now. Lol.
I don't think anyone could've said it better
okay, tearing up.. awesome
Thanks for giving it to me straight Jen! The good news is that DH tells me I'm beautiful and I think he means it, lol.
FWIW, I think you looked amazing 4,mos PP. You look even more fabulous now, so I feel lots better-theres hope.
I'm up 30 lbs, but I still have a few weeks to go, so we'll see what happens. And I agree my little Gus will be worth it!
