Re: selling jewelry

  • I went to both Bailey's http://www.baileybox.com/ and Raleigh Gold Jewlery & Coin http://goldjewelryparty.com/ and had a good experience at both.

But I would suggest you get a couple of offers before you settle.

There is also a new pawn shop on Capital Blvd. that is supposed to be good. http://www.pawndeals.com/

  • Well, I had a good time selling my gold jewelry. I think the best way to sell jewelry is to take it to a reputable estate jewelry buyer. Professional jewelers will assess your jewelry on its craftsmanship, quality, history, condition, market desirability, etc. Fabrikant Fine Diamonds Inc. is a trusted and reliable name in the jewelry business since decades. They are on Fifth Avenue, NYC. Even if you are not in that area, you can mail your jewelry to them. They will definitely assess your estate jewelry on a higher standard. They offer you an assessment before the actual deal. If you think the quote is worth it - you can proceed further. Here?s their number in case you?re interested - (212) 557-4888. I took my gold jewelry to them and the price offered by them was satisfying for me.
