Where are all the teaching jobs Brevard county nesties?
I have been looking forever! DH teaches here in Brevard, but I cant find anything! Im certified in El Ed, PE K-12, and Health K-12. I have one year exp. from teaching K-6 PE in Orlando... what gives? Any private schools hiring? TIA!

My high school is not hiring right now. Which level are you interested in? I don't know of any positions, but I can provide a list of schools. What area of Brevard are you looking for (north, central, south).

Yeh, enrollment is down at my school as well. We actually had to let 2 teachers go at the end of last year (well one "volunteered" b/c she decided to become a nun) but the other one was told that they were not renewing her contract.
Do you coach a sport? I can't speak for the lower level schools, but I see you are certified PE for high school, and I can tell you that around here, most of the PE teacher postions are held by/for coaches. (Although there are a bunch of coaches that teach math, english, social studies, etc)...
Definitely try FAA and I will let you know if I hear of anything else opening up.
