I finally caved and got a prescription for Zofran last week. I've tried it a few times... and it makes me gag/throw up immediately. Did this happen to anyone else? I've considered cutting the tablets so they are smaller but I'm not sure if it would help.
Re: I hate m/s
Thanks, Sarah.
Did you take the Zofran at set times or when starting to get nauseous?
Do you have the pills you have to swallow? They have ones that dissolve on your tongue, much better when you can't get anything down! I still couldn't eat when on Zofran, but at least I wasn't puking all day. I took it every 4 hours, if I started to get sick it wouldn't work.
Hope you feel better soon!
Shannon, I'm not sure when I get to find out the sex! I have an appointment on September 2nd to meet the ObGyn so hopefully I'll find out then when my u/s appointment is.
Mindy, thanks for sharing your experience. I appreciate it. I do have the dissolving kind and I think the feeling/sensation/taste makes me gag. I think I might be better off with swallowing something. I can usually keep food down, at least for a while, though I sometimes have days where I get multiple shots at the same meal. I should probably call the midwife to find out if I can just swallow the dissolving kind.
