When to expect all pics?

Hey ladies!

Just wondering if you girls knew when it was a reasonable time to expect all the pictures from your wedding to be ready?  We got our sneak peak slideshow about a week after the wedding.  I'd ask my photographer but she just had a baby about a week ago so I know it'll probably take a little longer than usual and I don't want to seem insensitive.    We'll be a month past the wedding on Saturday.

We had our disc of 1100 images within two weeks, but I have no idea what the norm is. Our photographer wanted to get them done ASAP before wedding season really started, we were his first wedding this year. Maybe just send her a nice e-mail saying congrats and nicely ask for an approximate time frame?

I know that my photographer said 6-8 weeks total time due to editing and such.  We got our sneak peek about 2 weeks after the wedding, so we still have a few more weeks.  I think it depends on how many bookings they have and what area you're in to know if its peak season.

Ditto what the others said, it is photographer dependant.  We got our sneak preview about 1 week after the wedding, but he had told us at the end of the wedding to expect the pictures to be done in about 4 weeks.

I'm not sure what the norm is supposed to be, but we got ours within 3 weeks. My photographer just emailed me an hour ago letting me know that the wedding album will be ready for review within 30 days. I am 100% pleased with her service so far.

I also don't know what the norm is but we haven't received anything back from our photographer (not even sneak peek pictures).  I mean they showed us some pictures on their camera the night of but we don't have any others.  We also didn't go with photographers who are mass wedding photographers so that could play a part in timing for getting pictures back.

We didn't get any sneak peek pics like other did but our proofs were ready to be picked up last week (actually only got them this past Tuesday) and we'll be a month on the 20th.  Right now the ball is in our court to sit down and pick out pictures for the albums.

We didn't get sneak peek pics but we got a flash drive with a slideshow and two CDs of edited and unedited pics in just a little over 2 weeks after the wedding. I would assume it depends on the photographer, their schedule, etc.
