Ladies in apartment complexes, come in please!

Ok.  I need access to a pool this summer.  I want to get Bianca into the water as much as possible.  I have a key to a pool out in Tanasbourne, but that's just too far for me to drive.  Anybody live closer to me (Sellwood ish) that would be willing to "share" your pool key?  I'll pay you for it, if you want to just sell it and get a replacement one from your apartment complex.

You can PM me if you don't want to reply here!

Xoxo

I might get flamed for this, but oh well.  It skeeves me out.  Every time I drive by them they are PACKED.  That many screaming kids...wouldn't be good for me, lol.

I grew up in a condo neighborhood with a pool, so I'm used to that environment.  My Mom just moved a little over a year ago, so no more pools anymore for me.  Apartment pools are generally empty during the week, perfect for me and a baby.  I think B would be really overwhelmed if I took her to a crazy packed pool.  Heck, I know I would be.

  • We take DD to the SW Community Pool on Sundays. It's pretty busy but she does fine there. We also took her to the Clackamas pool recently and she did ok there as well. It might be more crowded but I feel that's something she has to learn about as well. Plus with the weather still too cold to swim outside, it's nice to have a place to go indoors. There are also places that offer classes for babies. I know a new one recently got started in SW/Raleigh Hills area where the Ballys Fitness used to be. That way there's only be a few parents and babies in the pool.
  • I have access to one that's about half way between us in SW Portland/Beaverton area. Let's plan a few play dates!

  • We have a great pool at our complex...(and it's condos, so they're privately owned and not skeevy) but I'm far away from you! If you're out in the west side sometime, give me a call! My white legs will need some sun!

Ditto!  We have a great pool for owners, but we're pretty far out from you.  So if you're over here you are more than welcome!

Thanks girls!  Yeah the pool I already have a key to, is a really nice on in Tanasbourne.  BUT it's like a 30 minute drive with no traffic, so that sucks.  But thanks for the offers!!!  xoxo
