DH and I are looking at underwater digital camera (our Olympus crapped out on us) and are between the Canon and the Olympus (don't remember which one- its 14MP and $299.99). Any recommendations one way or the other? I wasn't a huge fan of Olympus' computer program, is Canon's good? Thanks!

Re: Best Underwater Camera
I did a lot of searching and read a lot of reviews on waterproof cameras recently. I'm a serious Canon fan, but wanted to see what was best. In the end, the Olympus didn't get great reviews on Amazon and other sites compared to the Canon. We haven't purchased it yet, but that's the one we will be getting.
FWIW, we have a Canon that's gone through everything and still keeps working incredibly well. I've dropped it, gotten water on it, lost parts, etc. and it still works. I had a Minolta and dropped it off the couch and it stopped working.
Target had an Olympus waterproof for $169 for a while and Costco had the same one or similar for $200. Both were 10mp I think.
My vote is for the Panasonic TS1 or TS2...or the Canon. Olympus has pretty poor image quality when looking at all of their reviews. DPReview did a head to head test and the Panasonic TS1 and Canon D10 won out in just about every category. I wasn't a big fan of the bulky Canon, so I went with the TS1...but now they have a TS2 out which may be a little better (haven't read reviews yet, so not sure if TS2 upgrade is worth it or not).
