Besides me being a Hockey/Baseball fan, I do like the Suns. They are in the playoffs and I was wondering, anyone going to the game on Sunday? Anyone else a Suns fan?

The Avs are my first true love, but I do have a soft spot for the Coyotes. I was a season ticket holder the year Doan made the team! Yes...I am THAT old! Haha! Hockey is in my blood... My grandmother use to do payroll for the Red Wings back in the day, so I grew up going to the games. I even dated a Phoenix Roadrunner back in my much, much younger years.
Have fun at the game tonight! I'm pea green with envy up here! I'd kill to be there!
Steve Nash is the secret father of my children
Love love the Suns! We haven't been to a game since I was preggo though
GO SUNS!!!
Of all the sports this is my favorite and my dad has been a season ticket holder since the days of KJ and Barkley so we will sometimes still go. I went to 2 games so far this year. just waiting for my hand out for the playoff tickets though.
**second date with my husband was to a suns game it was my treat and we had a private box and meal at the copper club and bar which overlooks the court** we also were on the kiss cam during the game
memories ::sigh::
I guess I should add my 2 cents here... That is my screen name after all.
I went to my first game during the 04-05 season. It was against the Hornets, Nash got a concussion, and I was in love. The next year, I moved here (was in CA at the time, DH was here) to be with DH and my parents bought us season tickets to make sure we had something fun to do since they figured we'd be short on cash. That meant that I was there for the Raja clothesline on Kobe, the Raja corner pocket 3 against the Clippers, us finally losing to Dallas We stayed on as season ticket holders through this season. Saw some great games, was apart of some great moments (including the game 5 against the Spurs after Amare and Boris were suspended for that lame "off the bench" thing. That was b/s.).
Well, with baby on the way now, we are not renewing for next season, and by not renewing for next season, that means that we don't get the chance to by our seats for the playoffs. Sure, we can still buy tickets for games, but I think we'd be teasing ourselves if we went in person. So, we'll be watching them at home. Though, if we match up against the Spurs in the second round... I for sure will be at at least 1 of those games.
But, to share my love of the team, here is what we did for our wedding... Our original colors were purple and orange. We changed to pink and orange, with purple and green accents. Our seating chart was geared to be like an NBA draft. Instead of sitting at table 1, you'd be sitting at Mike D'Antoni's table, or you'd have Shawn Marion's table (I cried the day he got traded by the way - just balled my eyes out) and so forth. So, then... we had pictures of the players (action shots of course) in frames, and those were on the tables. So, guests would see what player drafted them, then they'd sit at that table with his picture. Our wedding was actually right after the 07 series with San Antonio (the one with the suspensions). I had already arranged that if there was a game that day (it would have been game 7) to have a TV in my room as I was getting ready for the wedding.
I love my Suns.
ETA: DH got me as my wedding gift, authentic customized jerseys (I could wear mine as a dress it's so big!) that say Mr. Lastname/Mrs. Lastname. One has the number 5, the other has number 27, since our wedding date is May 27. One is a purple away jersey and one is a home white jersey.
