My husband and I are trying to be more green. I was thinking of switching over to the green works household cleaners. The chemicals in the other stuff we use, like bathroom and kitchen cleaners, gives me a headache everytime I use them. I was wondering if the green works brand actually does work and clean just as good as other cleaning brands?
Re: Green works...work?
most of the ladies here make their own cleaning products (i make some of mine as well) but if you're just starting to switch to being green, i can totally understand wanting to just purchase greener products.
as pp mentioned, greenworks is made by clorox.... not exactly an environmentally friendly company. i've never used their products, but i have heard that they stink of chemicals just as much as the regular stuff.
some decent green brands to start with:
Mrs. Meyers
Seventh Generation (some of their products do contain SLS, so read the labels if you're trying to avoid it)
Ecover
Better Life
I have been doing green cleaner reviews in my blog.
Here is the one I did about the dishwashing liquid. I just finished using the all purpose cleaner and will blog about this week it but I am not a fan. It just didn't do a good job.
