post office, how i hate thee.

the watson post office sucks.  SUCKS, i tell you.  i'm boycotting the postal service from now on.

Re: post office, how i hate thee.

  • There isn't a post office that I like. Those workers know they are the monopoly and treat people like sh!t. Me no likey.
  • I have had great experience with the Post Office off of Coursey. Just sayin'...

  • Do they have a kiosk? I HATE going to the post office. At my office we don't even get delivery service, we have to go there and buy a box to get mail. Oh and the post office near my house doesn't have a kiosk is supposed to open at 8:30, but never does, so I can never get stamps before work. I'm a HUGE fan of Fedex!

Really? Man, you're lucky. Everytime I go to that one, I get sh!tty service, long lines with not enough workers or workers with larger than life attitudes. :( If I can, I use the automated machine to avoid the people there.

  • i wish they would put in an automated thingy.  it would make my life much easier.

i secretly think (because i've only seen one postal worker - ever - at that branch) that all the mail that gets picked up out of mailboxes on routes goes through that post office and it takes them DAYS to get it out to where it's supposed to go.

i've got three client usb's that went out through my mailbox last week and none have gotten to them.  one was just going to freakin' walker.

    okay, vent over. =)

  • Ours is the same way. They deliver what they want, when they want. We'll get things with postmarks several weeks in the past. Or we'll get packages that have been opened, looted, then delivered. It's such BS!
  • we have one post office in Alexandria that's great, I love it.  But the one closer to where we used to live was awful!  We sent out our wedding invites a month before the wedding and some people got them two months AFTER the wedding.  Our thank you notes were never received by ANYONE!  I still wonder what ever happened to them.  It sucks because I really took time to write out heartfelt ones.

  • I avoid any and all PO's like the plague.  If I can't take care of my mail business at UPS or FedEx, it usually falls to DH's care.

  • Does Carencro even know what "automated" means?  The people at the PO are pretty nice so far, and we haven't had bad service...that I know of.  But then it's been about a week.
