Do you have a photo or two of your shower?   My friend is trying to reserve that room for us.  I've never seen it and wondered what it looked like.

TIA

Re: ***NewlyMrsM***

  • So I put the pictures that most showed the room.  I don't have a pic of the outside but you can find that in the link to the website that I posted in the other post.

Here is the entrance which is like a pretty foyer before going into the main room.

Here is the room.  I tried to get all the angles.  I stole them from one of my lovely bm's Jennythebride!

     Hope that helps!

  • oh, that does help.  THANK YOU SO MUCH.   I knew it would be nice being in Baldwin but I was a little worried having my friend pay the deposit without us even seeing it.

Oh question, do it have a kitchenette area that we can heat up food?

    Thanks!

  • Umm...  I'm not 100% sure but I think they do.
  • excellent.  Thanks again!
  • Hi. Sorry to butt in - they do have a little kitchen area - I believe it has a small microwave but I don't recall an oven!

    :)

  • Yikes...that place looks pricey! The clubhouse for our neighborhood development (brand new, just as nice) was $300 for a minimum of 3 hours...and they also wanted a $150 deposit on top of it in case there were damages done or the trash wasn't taken out.

I was one of her bridesmaids and I think all we had to pay was the refundable deposit because we knew someone that lived there. They got the place for free. You can't bring in alcohol though.

Actually, I just checked with my MOH and this place was only $100 deposit to rent and is only more if you serve alcohol.  That was as of January of this year.  You have to go through someone you know that lives there.

And to add to that, there is an even nicer, bigger place in Baldwin Park.  Well nicer from the outside but the room is duller.  I'm not sure how much it costs now but my moh's baby shower was done there and she says it was basically free with a refundable deposit.

  • yup, technically it's free unless we break something and loss the $100 deposit.  According to my friend who is reserving it both of the spaces are the same but we don't need the big space.  If you serve alcohol the deposit is 1k.
  • oh and for anyone else looking they also provide the tables and chairs free of charge.
