Bored/lonely

I'm such a baby when DH is gone....I feel bad b/c a lot of people have husbands who are away all the time. But, when he's not here I get so lazy...lol. I haven't done anything since I got home. I had tater tots for dinner  b/c I didn't feel like cooking just for me. I hate saying this, but I hope the weekend goes by quickly.

I know most of you are having a more exciting Friday night than me, but anyone have any idea for on demand movies that I should watch or any online games to play? Just trying to kill some time until it's time for bed

My DH is literally gone ALL THE TIME!  He left today for a 2 week trip with the guard and I'm bored out of my mind.  I'm used to it and I'm still like you.  I've been watching TV and surfing the internet all day.  I think I'm going to go to bed soon since after I put Rowen to bed I get really bored with no one to entertain me.  Have a good night!

Although DH rarely goes away...we don't see a lot of each other.  Between his day job and his business at night and same with me, I can go several days w/o seeing him so I know how you feel.  I am actually quite used to it since he used to work 100+ hours a week at his previous 2 jobs and I never saw him anyway.  My nights are usually spent on FB or playing games on POGO.  If you lived closed, I'd say you could come hang out with me as long as you didn't mind the total mess due to the kitchen renovations!

I'm thinking I'm going to take the dogs to the park (I'm loving that it's light until 8:30!!) for a little while then take a nice long bath....top it off w/ some FB and DVR shows. I love POGO too! I'm addicted to Monopoly.

I am not looking forward to when DH has to be OOT for work. The company he works for has offices in HI, TX, NorCal, WA, and Guam. I know he's going to have to travel to set up offices & stuff. The other night I told him I hope he doesn't get mad when I tell him that while he's gone I let the dogs sleep in the bed with me. He's dead set against animals in the bed (while sleeping), but he said he knows it will make me feel safer without him there so he's fine with it, but once he gets home they go back to their beds. I can agree with that, lol.

I don't have On Demand so I can't suggest any movies for you I would probably pick some cheesy romantic comedy, something lighthearted to pass the time. And I will have to find out what this POGO thing is.

I totally know how you feel!  DH has been gone for the last 2 weeks and there's still 2 more weeks to go before he comes home.  Then of course he'll leave for more training.  I love gardening so I've been spending my time outside. I think the worst part of the evening is the last few hours before bed.  I usually spend that time reading since I don't get to do much when DH is home.  And don't feel bad about eatting tator tots for dinner - I had ice cream and last night

i get the same way.  that is why i am going to vegas this weekend since he is going to new orleans for a bachelor party.
