I'm sitting here watching my husband do the pop-n-lock to Trina's "Million Dollar Girl" and I SOOOO wish I could get this on camera...

Anything your husband has done that makes you say, did I really marry this guy?!??!?!

My DH hates rap music, I love it.  So everytime I put it on rap, regardless of what song it is...he will crank up the volume, roll down the window, and yell "LUUUUUUUDAAAAAAA!" out the window....Luda as in "Ludacris" because that is apparntly the only rapper he can remember....cracks me up everytime.  Oh and he does a great impression of Lol Jon.  Anytime the answer to anything I tell him etc is OKAY...he'll say okay, followed by an "OOOOKKKAAAAYYYYY" and he sounds just like Lil Jon.  Nerd...

LOL, the Mr is kinda like that to. He's solid punk and metal so when I crank the hip hop he just cringes but every now and then i'll catch him like I was diggin that Carry Out song by Timbaland and Justin Timberlake and he was all screwing up his face until he saw JT in the video. The Mr slightly likes JT so then Carry Out was ok.

omg i love the carry out song!!! lol my dh is more of a rock guy also, but he does like some rap. He can sure bust a move! I just need to catch it on camera.

OMG. When we are in the are listening to rap he makes up his own words for me. He rhymes, but I always say really? What and who did I marry? lol Wanna be rapper.

Foto, I had that exact feeling at our wedding reception... wait, I just married this man?  LOL when he and his best man started doing this Russian type dance, holding hands, squatting and kicking out their legs together. I don't know where THAT came from.  My DH also does weird dances and embarrasses me. He actually does a really good James Brown impression.  We used to go to this local casino that would play disco music on Saturday nights (cause we're weird and thought it was hilarious to dance to disco music) and he busted out all these James Brown moves and people were cheering. I wanted to crawl under a rock.

Now THAT is awesome!!!  haha I'd prob pay to see the james brown moves! At least he isnt scared to be himself though, I'd rather have a James Brown dancer than a wall flower that will never dance! hehe

DH makes me say that nearly every day. He always makes up the most ridiculous stories...latest example, it was 6 am on Friday and we were walking to the Metro station to catch the train to get into DC to catch our bus to NYC. We had been up since 4:30 and I was not in a great mood.

He starts telling me some ridiculous, made up story about how we need to watch out for the Meth heads (now, we were in Bethesda, MD - where DH works, not where we live -...one of the wealthiest communities in the area...in a part of town where 1 bdrm condos are like $1 million and my friend used to pay $1550 a month for a STUDIO apartment...no meth here, kids).

He also likes to make up his own lyrics to songs I like just to annoy me. Or tell me to imagine muppets singing songs I really like. Or that our dog is a drug dealer, pimp, or no good roommate who needs to start chipping in on rent.

My hubby is a HUGE music buff, but is really into hip-hop, rap, r&b, etc. He also like dance-y music, like Madonna, Robbie Williams, etc. Anything even remotely danceable comes on and he is grooving to it in the kitchen. He's actually a really good dancer, but sometimes his song of choice is a little "gay" (not to sound at ALL judgemental, I swear!). Luv him. xo

I've been working graveyard/odd hours all weekend- here's the note I came home to Saturday at 2am

"I love you but I drank tonight so I know I will be snoring. So I will sleep in the guest bedroom. Get a good night's sleep. Love, your husband". 

It was written on the receipt for a case of Heineken. 

There he was, all passed out on the futon. It was so sweet, I invited him to sleep in the bed, snore and all.
