How long until veggie plants (from seeds) start showing?
I am planting my first garden this year and planted several types of seeds last weekend: peas, lettuce, radishes, carrots, scallions. How long until some plants start poking through the dirt? I have no idea how long it normally takes, as I've never done this before

Am I being impatient or will I start seeing some growth soon?
Re: How long until veggie plants (from seeds) start showing?
It may list that information on the seed packet. Usually it will say the "number of days for germination" or something similar.
My peas (English and sugar snap) usually take about 14 days on average. Last year was my one and only year for carrots, and they took a long, long time... it was around 4 weeks.
My two favorite cats!
