Herbs vs Veggies

I know I have to thin my veggies -if anyone is a pro I'd love if you'd look at my blog and tell me if my peas are too close together.  I think they are but I don't want to snip them if I don't have to!

As for herbs - I put dill in a pot and it's very thick.  Should I be thinning that too?  Is there any herb/veggie that you don't have to thin?

Re: Herbs vs Veggies

  • I'm no good with spacing of peas (never grown them) but I would thin out herbs a bit if they are right on top of each other.  like a few inch spacing.
  • Peas should be about 6 inches apart. We have 8 sugar snap pea plants and they are already producing more than we can eat, and they are just getting started.
