Need area advice for Columbus
Hi, I'm moving from NJ to Columbus in June and I'm still trying to find the best location to rent an apartment. If there are any Columbus Nesties who could help, I would greatly appreciate it.
Re: Need area advice for Columbus
Do you have a range in mind for rent payments? There are some nice privately-owned condos/apartments that are affordable near campus. A really great site to get you started looking in and around the downtown area is http://www.metro-rentals.com - there are even pictures of a lot of the units.
I live in a condo near campus in Harrison West...our rent is a bit high, but I know there are more affordable places, but I really love the area.
Happy hunting!
I'm also from NJ and moved to Columbus last year.
We live in the Short North area...we wanted to live in a pedestrian area where I wouldn't need to drive much. Unfortunately, there aren't many of those types of neighborhoods in Columbus.
Check out Victorian Village...I lived in a 2 bedroom townhome for about 785 (at the time) and the same complex also had 2 bedroom apartments. Grandview also has some affordable apartments!!
