Ants.

I'm new to the green living stuff. I am working on making our home more eco friendly, but it's a process. :)

Are there any green ways to help with ants? We get them in the summer and I don't want to use Raid or other sprays like that in the house. What do you use?

Re: Ants.

  • Terro products work great and are just boric acid (borax) and sweetener.
  • We use Green Earth Homecare liquid ant bait.
  • I put this up in another post but I'll share here too!  I just read that if you put little piles of cornmeal where the ants come/go, they will gravitate toward it, pick it up, and bring it back to their hill.  They eat it and can't digest it so it kills them.  Takes a few days but it is certainly worth a shot!
