Moody or Magnificent Monday?
Which is it for you?
Painting of the in-law's ceiling over the weekend was a big success - we made a lot of progress. However, I woke up this morning not feeling like I had a weekend and am consequently downing coffee by the gallons. (Not really, but definitely more than usual.) That, and PMS doesn't help.
So on a scale of 0 (Octob!tch) to 10 (Manically excited/happy), i'd put myself at an even 5.

My Blog!
Just rub it in why don't cha....
Magnificent Monday over here. Both DH and I are off today and I'm actually looking forward to cleaning our house *together* and running some errands *together*. We also have the windows open because it is gorgeous outside.
A little of both?
Moody because I'm exhausted and my legs and feet are tired from walking so much this weekend. I'm also tired of looking fat rather than pregnant. Not to mention people keep asking when I plan to start grad school, which was originally winter semester 2011 but now has to be put on hold since I'll have a newborn. So I have to either lie or say I haven't decided yet which makes me look like a schmuck.
Magnificent because I got to go over to my new office and pick out my desk (since I'm a current employee of the organization they gave me first choice
) and I got to tour the library facilities (I've never been back in the stacks) and I'm really excited about starting.

I'm stuck in the middle. I test drove a car that I'm in love with but DH and I have decided that we're going to dump our extra $$ into his car payment so that when we do buy said car I'm in love with, we'll only have one payment to make. That means I have to deal with my car and its randomness for a little while longer. The good news is that I know I'm going to be getting a cool vehicle someday soon.
I'm also a little pissy today because Hubby is going over to dogsit/housesit for his parents who have 3 dogs that they can't afford to board but still want to vacation and expect (not ask - expect) us to drop everything to do it. One of their dogs has all out attacked mine so I'm staying at our house with our dog and he is staying at their house with their dogs.
MAGNIFICENT! I'd put myself at about a 9.5 with a slight margin off because I was a bit hung over this morning.
Too much fun with my friend who's visiting.
However, the good stuf is that hubby is interviewing in SF RIGHT NOW for the job he really wants, and I'm pretty sure he'll get as long as they can pay him enough $. AND... he'll be home tonight and I'm ovulating (sorry for the TMI).
Moody. In fact, kind of cranky. My less than stellar weekend began at 4:30 Friday, where we didn't get the house. The search continues. Worked 9:30p to 6 a, then back at 5p-1:30a on Saturday.
Sunday it was 11a-8:30p, but we were desperatley short handed so I work three jobs and stayed until 11p.We're also already short tonight, and I'm sitting here like a zombie, thinking of synonyms for "idiot".
The ot is nice, but there's a lot of frustration as to how those that called out/left early will not be reprimanded. I also lived on hospital food for 2 days and haven't worked out or even walked since Friday- I'm riding 67 miles on the bike in 2 weeks, and really need to have my a game going. Wondering if 5 day old lasagne is ok, or if I should have brown rice and veggies for lunch.....
Moody...tired....
Yay for everyone having a Magnificent day, to the rest, I concur....
I'll today a "Meh" Monday. Nothing all that good, but nothing all that bad.
I'm happy I got in early today, so I can leave early and have time to go for a run and then get some yardwork done tonight. But for now, I feel like my head is in a cloud and I'm already looking forward to next weekend.
