Good morning!
I've been looking forward to introducing myself ever since my sweet friend daisygirl17, told me about this board. I just started up here on the nest hoping to join a community of fellow homemakers, crafters, and genuinely good people. I'm really excited!
As of late, I've been diving head first into a few hobbies that occupy most of my free time. Sewing, vegetarian cooking, and a new running regimen. (You might have heard of it--Couch 2 5K?) All of which are going really well. I have found that when I'm starting up a bunch of new things, it's really great to have people in my life that relate to what I'm going through. Although my hubs is my number one fan and supporter, he's not always able to understand...you all know.
As a twosome, we've been almost entirely devoted to our home. Having been married for nearly two years (June 7th!!) we've had a lot of good time to devote to decorating and redecorating. (I have my degree in interior design and I rarely ever feel "finished" with any room). We're really hoping to spend most of our summer hiking and camping, which is a HUGE passion of ours. In years past, our work schedules have been opposite, which allowed for little to no outdoor activity in the summer. This year, we're planning to do it up right! A roadtrip to San Francisco in June and a camping trip to Crater Lake/Redwoods in late July/early August. Hopefully, much more in between!
I was hoping to keep this short and sweet, so I'll cut myself off here!

How exciting! How's the running going? What week are you on? I just finished the third week, but started to have issues with my knee. Urg. I hope I don't fall behind, but I'll probably have to invest in some new shoes in the near future.
Also, what have you been crafting these days? I'm focusing a bit more on sewing, but love all things creative.
