How easy are those Extended tree trimers?

You know, the saw thing on a long stick with the rope?

Excellent. I have a few different pole pruners and use them a lot.

The complicated thing is knowing where and what to prune. I've seen so many people just remove everything they could reach, and taking off ALL the lower branches (some call this "limbing up"). Pole pruners are dangerous in the wrong hands.

  • The one I had was awful.  The blade was too flexible and the rope broke on the cutter part.  Way too frustrating to use.  Maybe I could have found a better quality one, but all the ones I found had the same bendy-blade problem.

It depends on what you're trying to cut.  We have one if you ever want to borrow it Silva.
