Orange Oil Insecticide?
Has anyone used orange oil as an insecticide? I'm having a SERIOUS ant problem everywhere (including our bedroom where no food or water is kept). Our garden has been taken over and I'm not excited about using a commercial spray in addition to concern for the safety of our indoor cat and dog. I read about a mixture of orange oil, vinegar and rubbing alcohol and wondered if anyone had tried it.
If you've tried it, how well did it work? What measurements did you use?

Thanks. I've tried the borax and sugar, jam, peanut butter, etc. They work, but don't deter them from coming back. Some of the ants preferred the peanut butter, others the jam.
I went to a specialty garden center today that had a money-back guarantee with one of their products. I'm giving that a try and adding a healthy dose of vinegar sprayed around the counters before bed.
