Best Seed for Lawns?
any good rec's as to what brands? or should i avoid " big brands" and go for somethin else?

So long as the package says weed free (because weed seeds can get into grass seed), go with whatever brand you like. Be sure to choose the variety of grass that's best for your area and growing conditions.
