Homemade butter....check.
Homemade yogurt....this week while I am vacation.
next step is to stop buying store whole wheat bread and make it myself. Any good recipes for a whole wheat bread?
Also, can you freeze homemade yogurt and if so for how long? I have a deep freezer. Thanks!

there's also a no-knead bread that I haven't tried but it looks easy and I've read good reviews: http://www.motherearthnews.com/Real-Food/Healthy-Bread-No-Knead-Bread-Recipes.aspx
I would be hesitant about freezing yogurt because the texture will most likely be altered. If you're using it for smoothies though it shouldn't be a problem.
I make this bread all the time and LOVE it! The book it is from is amazing. I love that you can make a big batch of it and then use it whenever you need it. It's also super easy to make. BUT, if you are looking for a sandwich type bread then this probably isn't what you are looking for. It's a very dense bread and not typically what you think of for sandwiches (although I do make sandwiches with it).
You can make any bread into a wheat bread by substituting as much as 1/3 whole wheat flour for the regular bread flour in the recipe.
Most recipes, though, call for at least some white flour.
My go-to bread is this... if you have a stand mixer, it's amazing. I do it with 1/3 wheat flour and it comes out great. I love this bread because it makes up super fast (start at lunchtime, done for dinner) and has a crust like it's had an overnight rise:

That site, The Fresh Loaf, has tons and tons of great bread recipes.
If you want a multigrain, I recommend highly the Martha Stewart multigrain boule... it's a PITA to make but it's fantastic.
