Hi ladies, I have lurked a bit on the nest, but have stuck mostly to the knot for wedding related issues. I finally decided it was time I introduced myself, and I have a question as well.....We are currently living in an apartment in Tualatin, and have started looking for houses. Are there any specific areas any of you can recommend? Our ideal house would be small, with a large lot up to several acres. We also would like to stay in the Oregon City/Wilsonville/Tualatin/Lake Oswego area.
Thank you in advance for any help!
Re: New here....
Welcome!
As for homes with large lots/acreage, you may want to look in Charbonneau or Aurora. Both are small areas just outside of Wilsonville and offer homes at pretty affordable prices. And neither area is densely populated, so you'll probably have an easier time finding a home on land there.
You can also try Molalla or Mulino. They are further south, but may have more of what you are looking for.
Hi Jeni, Thanks!
We actually just started looking at Molalla today. Definitely further than is ideal, but I would rather have a little bit of property and have to drive further.
No problem!
I was looking on RMLS.com last night and found some beautiful properties for around $250k on several acres. Good luck!
Thanks!
