So, I fell on my face this morning
OMG, you guys.
I forgot my coffee and I have no food in my house, so I stopped by the grocery store across from school this morning. I got my Starbucks, then started walking through the aisles to find some lunch.
Well, the heels on my boots are totally jacked...I haven't work them in forever and I forgot this. My jacked up heel plus the slick floor...I slipped and fell face first on the floor of the store, just spread eagle in the aisle. My coffee flew out of my hand and spilled everywhere, so there I was, face down in aisle 14 with my brand new coffee all around me.
I hate today.
Re: So, I fell on my face this morning
I'm embarrassed to admit I've done this way too many times. I fell face first in the computer room in college - the room was packed.
at least you'll (hopefully) never see anyone from the grocery store ever again?
It's the store across the street from my school where ALL the students hang out in the morning. I don't think any of them saw me, though.
Now I'm just in pain. My ankle, my wrist, my back, and both my knees hurt really bad. As well as my pride.
I've done this a couple times, all in front of a crowd. So embarrassing.
I'm just glad to hear you're okay. I jacked up my knees the last time this happened. Take it easy for the rest of the day!
true! at least you didn't sprain your ankle...or worse!
I used to wear j.crew flip flops almost everyday, those fekers made me slip more times than I can even count - I even slipped going down cement stairs (it was raining) when I was in australia and fell right on my tailbone. I almost threw up it hurt so bad.
at one point, MH thought I wouldn't slip/fall if he held my hand. he was wrong.
I've done that before, in a crowded a$$ denny's at 3 am. But in my defense I was HAMMMERED. Owell.
I'm glad you are okay though.
