Kashi frozen meals are so. freaking. good. I just had a lemon grass chicken coconut and it was amazing. They were on sale this week so I got a bunch but I'm headed back to the grocery store to buy more tonight. Normally they're too pricey so I need to take advantage.

They blow most Lean Cuisines out of the park!

  • How is the sodium content in them? I know it will be high but some are higher than others.
  • In that way, it blows. It's 28% of your daily value (680 mg). I know I should try to make my lunch but it's so much easier to grab it out of the freezer!
  • That's about norm.  I keep them on stock for when I just dont feel like doing anything else.  I've been doing the steamer bowls.  Can't remember which brand.  But I will have to check these out too.

    TJ's used to make a great brown rice and vegetable bowl but they stop making it for some reason. It was really light and I think the sodium content was in a more normal range. I really miss it . . . I should really start making large batches of it myself of the weekends.
