DH and I were given surprise tickets to tonights Sox game because his sister couldn't use them. I'm wondering how to dress. It's warmish now and probably will be when we get to the game but by the time we leave (after being outside for hours) I'm anticipating that I'll be pretty cool. The tickets say we can't bring bags with us into the Park but I don't want to be carrying a coat, sweatshirt, etc on my arm all evening until I need them.
Re: what to wear ?
I've definitely brought a small bag (not a purse) into Fenway, though it would only fit a sweat or a jacket, not both.
This is what I would do (I also get cold easily): wear a long sleeve shirt and maybe wear a thin windbreaker or put it in a bag, then carry a sweatshirt. The sweatshirt will probably be enough to keep you warm if it isn't windy, and the windbreaker will give extra support if it is.
Ditto all of this. I don't know if they changed the rules this year or what but you should be okay to bring a small bag.
Have fun!
