f/u to my Kleenex disposable towels post
I saw an actual ad in a magazine today for the Kleenex disposable hand towels. Before it was just a fleeting commercial.
After thinking about it and discussing it on here, I had a good laugh. It shows a dirty cloth towel next to the Kleenex towels. The Kleenex towels were sparkling white, and the cloth towel was disgusting. LOL - it looked like I washed my floors with it!
And yes, I do wash my floors with cloth towels, which I toss in the washing machine.. I'm not even sure they look as bad as the towel in the ad! Even if your towels somehow ended up looking like that, since it is a white towel, the average person would just bleach back to bright white. The advertising is so awful!

Exactly. Or clean freaks who somehow think a clean handtowel is going to kill them. There was a post awhile back about how you wash your hands after using the restroom, and the OP's thinking (wash my hands and I'm done) was dwarfed by "OMG that's disgusting! I use 3 toliet seat liners, use TP to open & close the stall door, use PT to turn the water on and off, and another PT to open the restroom door." It's just ridiculous.
I am constantly suprised by the laziness of people, since it keeps happening I should be used to it but I'm just not. One of my coworkers dumped his entire laptop in our office kitchen trash can awhile back, I nearly strangled him
And I work for a environmental consulting firm.
