How did you stumble across that book or where did you hear of it?
I am thinking that this may be a good thing for D. At least it sounds like something that may help. Can you tell me a bit about it?
Re: **KrisTy**
I think it was featured on the bestsellers of Amazon or Borders or something, I came across it by accident!
It's really for artists/designers, but I suppose it could be applied other places. It's written by this guy who has come to terms with the fact that you need to work to live and your job isn't necessarily always your passion. Also, sometimes when your job IS your passion, you lose the magic in it. And if your plan is to be randomly discovered and become famous, you are probably going to fail and be miserable waiting - you need to work hard to get where you want to go. He has a blog: gapingvoid.com where you can read excerpts from his book. There are probably similar books out there on life in general, this one just hit so close to home for DH. HTH!
Drew is a chef by day, artist by night (tattoo, paint, graphic design). Alot of the problem he has is lack of being able to use his creativity with his current "real" job and it ends up blocking his "fun" job. He came from a place where he could do whatever he wanted with his creativity and food (which is an artform) and is now stuck in a more corporate structure environment. All of this has led him to be discruntled about his artwork and cause depression.
I'll look into it. Thanks for the info!
