Hey Floridians! I'm new to the Nest.
My name is Jackie and I live in Wellington. Any Wellington People on here?? I'm excited to get into this site because I LOVED the Knot. It helped me so much. I don't know a lot of people in Wellington, as I moved from Boca to live with my hubby. I have two new step daughters and am new to married life. I don't know all these acronyms that I see you guys using on here. I'm taking some guesses but if someone could explain that would be awesome! Trying to learn the lingo on this block.

Hello and Welcome. We have quite a few girls that live up in Broward.
As far as the acronyms I only use a few. Here are the one's I know:
DH - Darling Husband, MH - My Husband, HTH - Hope this helps, TIA - Thanks in advance, BTW - By the way, IMO - In my opinion, IMHO - In my honest opinion, MIL - Mother in law, NBR - Not board related

My name is Diana i am new to the nest as well. Was married last month and i live in loxahatchee and work in Wellington. I to loved the knot alot and miss it. I have 2 new step daughters as well , and one son of my own. I am looking to meet people in the area and hope to make some new friends. I am learning how to use this site and upload pictures, lol hope i can figure it out. Well hopefully i will see you around here on the Nest!!

Hey Diana! Nice to meet you! Congrats on your recent wedding. You were married a week before me.
Didn't it go by soooo fast? People had told me that it would fly by the day of, but I couldn't believe just how fast it was. All the planning is done and I will admit I am a little sad! Did you enjoy your planning?
Well it looks like we have some things in common. How old is your son and how old are your step daughters? Mine are 11 & 14.
We should! I'm looking for new friends in the area. My friends mostly live down in Broward.
