Where to buy a laptop lunch bento box?
They are so cute, but for the whole system it will cost almot $50 the ship. I think that is way to pricey. Does anyone use these and know where I can get it for a more resonable price or am I out of luck?
TIA

Do you think this might work instead?

I've also seen the Laptop Lunches bento boxes at Whole Foods. I bought mine at a cute green store in Upstate NY. To be honest, I'm a petite person at 5'3" 130 lbs, and the Laptop Lunches don't hold enough food to be a lunch for me. They'd be great for children, but not an adult. Plus mine started to hold smells after a few weeks of use, because it's plastic.
I switched to To-Go Ware and have been very happy with it. The containers hold a great amount of food for an adult, not too much or too little. You can't microwave them b/c they're metal, but I wouldn't microwave a plastic bento box with food in it either. They come with a little container called a Sidekick to hold dressing, sauces, or salsa. I regularly have exactly what the picture shows, an entree like a sandwich or leftovers, a salad or chips, and fruit.
I bought mine online, but I didn't buy the whole water bottle and carrying case thing. The Bento 2.0 set is $25 and shipping is usually around $9 (ugh). Coupon code veglunchbox gets 10% off though!
They are also sold in stores. Check the Laptop Lunches website to find out if there's a store near you.
And my husband eats a Laptop Lunch every day and is satisfied (see blog, LIS). He's not huge (6', 160#), but he's a big eater. He says it's always "just right."
