Kleenex hand towels

I'm sorry, i dont post here often, but i saw a commercial that made me mad, and i had to find out what others thought about it.

It was for kleenex hand towels.... individual towels that you pull out of a tissue box type thing, to replace a regular hand towel.

Are they serious? That's a LOT of waste going into the landfills that is VERY unnecessary, in my opinion.

What, people dont know when their hand towels are dirty enough to change them? are they serious?

Ridiculous!

My friend had some of those decorative paper hand towels in her bathroom (like these) and I was so annoyed especially because it's like drying your hand w/ kleenex... the tissue stuck to my hands in little pieces! 

I wonder if these are just paper towels in a big box.

If it's a Kleenex product, that's probably what it is. They look like the stuff that baby wipes are made of, but dry instead of wet.

Yup there's been a couple of posts here about that product.  It makes me mad too.  What will they think of next, disposal bath towels?  I bet it will be something that fits and dispenses out of the top of a laundry hamper.

I have been having a good laugh over it.  I mean, who lets a hand towel get so disgusting that it looks like it was dragged through the mud?  I toss mine in the wash regularly, and sun dry, and never have had a problem.  So wasteful!  If you see the ad in a magazine, take a good look at the "dirty towel", they really went overboard with it!  You'd have to be a serious slob!

in our family of 2, i only need to replace the hand towel once a week. if we are having company, i usually put out an additional "company" towel next to the sink. I suppose if we had a larger family, i would replace the hand towel more often. but come on, its not very hard to change hand towels out when they get dirty and wash them.
