1st ob appt :/
So we went in for our first ob appointment today. The doctor was great, the office nice. They did an ultrasound, but I got some mixed messages. By my dates I'm supposed to be 7 weeks. By ultrasound the doctor said I'm closer to 5 weeks. They drew blood today to check the beta and said depending on the number determines if I just conceived later in my cycle (i can be irregular at times) or if it's early miscarriage. Either way they scheduled a repeat visit in 3 weeks. ugh....it's going to be a long couple of days (under the impression that no call back is good)....and then a loooong couple of weeks before we go back.

Hey! I feel your pain and am right there with you. I had my first appointment on Monday, and it didn't go well at all. I had an ultrasound in the office and the doctor said she couldn't really see much. Freaked me out! So she sent my for an ultrasound at a radiology office on Tuesday and the report came back that I am measuring 5 weeks instead of almost 9. Great. They said they could see a little fetal pole in the sac but that's it. So, she sent me for a beta today and another one on friday. Depending on how those turn out, I will have another ultrasound in 2 weeks.
So seriously, I know how you feel. It's gonna be a long few days waiting for the blood work and a long freaking 2 weeks!
