Grrr...

My DH and I put an offer in on house on Friday and we just found out someone out bid us.  We don't want to spend more than we offered because it needs a lot of work.  I really liked the house.  Now the search begins again...

Re: Grrr...

  • When it's right it'll work out. I know it sucks to be outbid but you'll find the perfect house :)

  • Bummer! The whole buying of a house process is so stressful and often depressing! Like the PP said though, it will all work out and you guys will find the perfect house! Good luck!

  • Welcome to my life!

I 100% feel your pain. I have been outbid now 7 times, and I have been bidding well over asking prices. I think the market is on it's way back up, or at least where I am looking . . . .

Off to see house number . . . I couldn't even tell you, at least 100 something.

Hope you have better luck than I am!

  • we are just begining that process and will start looking at houses next week!  Good luck too you all and happy hunting.
  • Keep your chins up ladies!  We didn't even put offers in a few houses that we loved because there were already "several offers in" and we didn't want to get into bidding wars in this market.  I'm so happy we didn't because we are so in love with our house and it is perfect for us (and it wasn't a foreclosure or a short sale and they accepted our first offer with no counter).

I know it's hard to feel positive now, but when it's all said and done everything happens for a reason and you all find the perfect house for you!!  I'm so excited for all of you because it's a great time to buy and in end, it will all work out (these are all the same things that all of my friends kept telling me and I wanted to smack them, but it's true I promise!).

    Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!
