Hi Laides! I just got married this past weekend (April 17) and wanted to come over here and say hi! I actually live in Las Vegas, but we got married in Scottsdale. We moved to Vegas from the Phoenix area about a year and a half ago. I tried posting on the Vegas local board, but there is not much activity there and I got to know a lot of girls onPhoenix board of The Knot pretty well. I am looking foward to seeing some familiar faces and some new ones as well!
Re: New here

Can't wait to meet my baby boy!
Thanks for the warm welcome! A little about myself. . .Well, I grew up in Northern CA, am a proud graduate of ASU (Go Devils), lived in Tempe/Scottsdale from the age of 18 when I started college until 27 (I am almost 29 now) when my then FI and I moved to Vegas to be closer to his family. I work for a very large international Real Estate and Land Development company as the Director of Career Development (just got promoted from manager about a month ago) but when I lived in Scottsdale I was the Catering Sales Manager at a resort and an Event Coordinator at a Phoenix venue before that. So I spent 5 years of my life planning other people's wedding and it was great to finally plan my own!
I am looking forward to getting to know everyone, and I would love to go to a GTG next time I am in town, I come quite often since so many of my friends and my husband's friends still live in Phoenix.
